Recently, we caught up with Eric to learn more about him and his experience at Able:
- What position are you in?
I just got my CDL license, so I am a crew leader now. That comes with the responsibility of ensuring all paperwork is completed and signed off on by a happy customer. I just started training on long-distance moving because I’ve mostly done state department and local jobs in the past.
- What are your thoughts on winning the YOU2 award? What does the YOU2 Movement mean to you?
This is very important to me because I have moved up from helper to CDL in only 3 years, and that’s a big step for me. I am appreciative of Able for helping me get my CDL license. The YOU2 Movement and awards mean a lot to me and everyone in the company.
- How did you hear about Able Moving and what made you want to work there?
I actually first started working here 10 years ago. I had first heard about Able through my uncle and cousin. They said it was a great place to work, and my cousin still works here! I left for 2 years and then came back 3 years ago because I saw how big Able was getting as a company and wanted to be part of it.
- What is your favorite thing about working at Able Moving?
My favorite thing is being at a different place every day and getting to meet all types of different clients.
- What is the most important lesson you have learned at Able Moving?
Make sure the paperwork is fully completed and always make sure you get a happy customer!
- What do you like to do in your free time?
When I am not working, I love to spend time with my kids.
- Do you have any hobbies you enjoy or a special talent?
I used to play soccer, but now I watch it on the weekends. My favorite team is Barcelona!
